It could just be a glitch today and maybe will work for you. Check out "Adoptees Caucus for Truth" if you want to get into some activism--just do a google search on the name and it will give you some sites and recent news about the group. Hope that helps...don't know why the former addie is now a porn site..???!!!Good luck!

Thank You veryu much Silverqueenbee, that link actually worked, lol, no porn this time. I kind of got a little depressed when i saw that there were only around 7500 signatures on the petition. So that led me to question myself, why, if we in america vote our lawmakers into office, why isnt there more of a movement throuhgout the US, to go after these lawmakers whom we put into the public office, and give thier nice cushy salaries to, why arent more polititians involved in this movement?, why dont more people make their voice be heard so that we can get some help out of our elected officials, I know that i am ging to write the President, my congressman, Jeb Bush, to let these people know that adoption record reform is needed. You know, there are hundreds of thousands of posts on this site, and this is just one site, and i am sure that it is the same way on other sites, so why is there only 7500 signatures on this petition, please anyone who reads this thread, take 5 minutes and sign the petition, it will do years worth of good. Just some thoughts that i had.

I think what happens is too many of us get so internally focused--focused on our own searches, our own issues, our own losses that we forget that together we have power...somehow the anger or frustration needs to be brought together to bring about change....that's just my take on it....If you want to get involved, look for a group in your area that is already active in that arena, If there isn't one, maybe it's time to start one!
