birthfather's mom died of cancer
I just started searching for my daughter and got reconnected to my ex-boyfriend who is also the BF. He notified me that his mom passed away about 6 years ago of cancer. Although Dorothy (name i gave her) was born in 1988 in NJ and is legally of age to be both contacted and searched for, does anyone think it would help my search to let someone know about this? I'm not sure what type of Cancer she died from, all the BF mentions is that it was a female-related thing. I could use some advice...
Thanks! Becky |

Yes - even if your daughter does not want contact the information is important and a lot of cancers do run in families. My medical history might have saved me from having a heart attack in my 40's.
