YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO TEETER GO!!!

Abbie is "almost" to the weight requirement, she was 19 pnds on Tuesday. But even if she does make it to 20+ pnds, we still can't put her in a forward facing seat. because of lack of head/neck control.....but one day she will!!!

Does she use a "car bed"? Or is she able to use a standard infant seat? We looked into car beds when Teeter first came for similiar reasons, but he is on a monitor and was almost to the point that it wasn't a concern so we stayed with the regular infant seat. Today, when he fell asleep forward facing I was really concerned about his sats because his head of course fell way over... but they stayed around 90, so that's okay, I guess.

Whoa sats in the 90's? Not something I'm used to.

Cameron has been in a car bed since we first took him home from the hospital. VERY unfortunately, there is only 1 company in the US that makes them and they only make one (small size). My little guy is very long, but thin. It's looking like I'll have to scrunch up his legs when we go home, as he can't safely be in a regular car seat (obstructing his sano shunt). I can't wait till he can be after the Glenn!

And good job teeter! You must feel SO happy. Isn't it funny the things we get happy about when we have medically fragile kids? Today, I felt pretty happy when my son's nurse told me he had the best profusion of an HLHS baby that she had ever seen! Wow I was proud.

I know of a couple manufactures of SN car seats once your kiddo cannot safely fit in a car bed... I'll see what I can find. Teeter was much too long for his infant seat too, but since he didn't know any different and is not much a complainer, he tolerated it

Abbie still rides in an infant seat, with her legs scrunched up. Her Ped is ordering her a TheraPedic seat. Britax has one The Traveler Plus. And also there is the Hippo.

Out of the 3, we chose the TeraPedic, simply for the design. It just looks like it would fit her better. And it looks like it will give her better head/neck support. They make things to help hold her head up..havn't tried anything but a collar thingy, that her foster mom took back
As far as car beds, theres Angel Guard and Angel ride.

Devildog..I can hear you!! That song makes me bawl everytime I hear it!! Love it tho!
