Well, two days in he seems to be doing okay as far as weight maintenance. He did lose 6 ounces the first day... but I'm chalking that up to him changing from a liquid diet to a food based diet.

Today he gained an ounce, we'll see how he does tomorrow I'm holding my breath and hoping this will work.

We did notice today that he gets food stuck in his palate (he has an extremely high palate due to lengthy intibation (sp?) and had to use nipped for kids with clefts for a long time. He gets the food in his palate out before the stuff stuck in his cheeks, so I'm not worred about it. He does "lose" food in his cheeks because he's low-toned and its like it goes in there and then he forgets about it! But, not for too long... (I've had squirreler before who would hide food in their cheeks for HOURS)

Anyway, still seems to be going well

Well, Teeter has been gradually losing weight now for a few days... we'll see if he turns it around again. He HATES to eat again right now, which makes it so trying for everyone.
