Laryngomalacia
Does anyone have a child with this? I am looking into what some of Hong Kong's special needs children have and this has come up more than once. I have found a few resources to help describe what laryngomalacia is, but I would love for feedback from the board.
Thanks!

My child does not have laryngomalacia, but my sister was diagnosed with it as an infant and I have worked with two children who also had the diagnosis.
In my sister's case, they considered it mild and it went away by about 18 months of age without any intervention. The severity and whether or not it is associated with other problems is a better prognostic indicator. Megan |
