Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy

Hello,

We are currently looking into have Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy for our daughter. We are in the investigative mode.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of surgery? Or does anyone have any other information they can share?

Thanks

Pam

i used to work at the hospital where the majority of dorsal rhizotomies are done. kids really make great strides after this type of surgery. while i don't know anyone in my personal life that has had one, the kids i saw at the hospital got great results and benefits from the surgery. good luck, i hope you find the answers you are looking for.
