Red face Christian Homes of Abilene

my husband was adopted from there but we seem to be running into dead ends searching for his birth mother without paying a whole lot of money. Any advise?

Do you have his "Infant of" information?
PM if you want to know more about that.

What is your husband's date of birth. I am looking for grandson born 9/21 or 9/22 1985 and adopted from Christian homes of Abilene.

Hi, I just found out I have a brother who was adopted through Christian Homes of Abilene in 1967. DOB was October 10. Thought I'd mention it in case it happens to match with your husband's DOB. Also, I'd be curious to know what you've done so far to get info. I am just getting started on my search.

I know that my sister went through the process and there was an intial search fee of a little over $200 and she was told there is a real possibility that there would be no response from birthparents. She did actually re-unite with birthparents and siblings and it has been a very positive experience. Have you gone past the initial 'search' fees for records?
