My Daughter's 35th Birthday
My daughter's 35th birthday was this week. April 26th. Every year I think of you - not just on your birthday - I wonder who you are - have I passed you on the street - do you know I am searching for you.
You were born on April 26, 1971 at Our Lady of Victory Infant home. Last year I updated your medical file at OLV. They notified your adoptive parents of this update. Did they tell you? I don't want to intrude on your life. I just want to know that you are alive and well - I want that part of my heart that I lost 35 years ago to heal - it went with you and will always be with you. I am your birthfather. You are with me always. |

Another OLV daughter
I was not born on that date, but rather 5/21/71--also at OLV. I am touched by your posting and wish you success in finding her. It is nice to know that some of you think of us. I have had NO success and after reading a few of these threads I see why--fake names, etc, etc. My adoption is complicated by the fact that I was adopted via PA Catholic Charities so neither NY or PA will release any info.
Again, good luck with your search!! Jill 5/21/71 |
