Can you provide any other information about your mother - the adopted childs birth mother, such as nationality, hair and/or eye color at time of child birth. Her age . Maybe some of the same kind of info for the birth dad if possible.
My husband was born in the late 60's (1967) and is in search of birth family.

more info

Birth mother has black hair and brown eyes. She is caucasion, with Italian, English, and French heritage (mostly Italian). She is 5'5". She had LONG black hair in highschool when this birth would have taken place. I don't know what else I can tell you. I have no knowledge of birth father. His name might have been Russ, but that's only a guess from an 11 yr old conversation w/ the birth mother. If you have any more knowledge, please write back. Like where he was born and so forth. Thanks.

Hi Again
remember me? We emailed back and forth just recently. I read your post from today and after all that we thought was similiar before I am surprised that the birth name on your 1/2 brothers birth cert is the same as my husbands is today. He was born William Paul something but name was changed to Scott.
We also found out more information just recently. I mentioned thatwe were waiting for info from the state. We finally got it.

The new info we have is this
Birth mom name = Karen
She had 3 other children - 2 girls and 1 boy. boy was born with cerebral palsy. one sister was born with hip problem but healed when young
BMom lived with their dad for 4 years until she finally married him in 66 only to divorce within two months. My alleged birth father was not their dad.

My adoption was final in 1970
Any similarities please email me again or post here. Probably a long shot again but one never knows. Just found it ironic that the name was the same as my husbands

moreironic

My mother's name is Karen - but her only children besides half-bro looking for, is myself (female dob 7/23/75) and one brother (dob 1/10/74). I found it more ironic that my mother's name is Karen - seems like we have weird similarities, but too much info conflicting.

bdads name

Hello
We have some information that leads us to think that Scott's bdad name might be Andrew Caramanica. He had a brother who wanted to keep me and I lived with them for a few days. The state told my bmom that because he was not married to his then girlfriend that lived with him that it was not a good home for me. They did eventually marry and from what i know they lived or do now live in Rhode Island.

Hi Scott and Sue,
I just read your post about your birthdad's name. I usually look up names in the white pages. Sometimes I get lucky and find one. I looked up the name you think could be your birthdad. I don't know if this will be any help and you have probably already checked this, but I found an Andrew A. Caramanica 45 Goddard Rd. Brockton, Ma.02301 Tel # 508-583-2188. It says he is 63 years of age. It also listed and Andrew M age 39 and a Janice age 58. I hope this will help you. I will keep my eyes open for any other info.
Hugs,
Lynn

Hello
Thankyou for replying. Yes, I too was able to find that name in the book. My husband knows that I have located this name and address but does not seem anxcious to contact him at least at this point. His bmom had scott out of wedlock and had a court hearing scheduled against the supposed birth dad for illegitimacy. The legal bdad on the birth cert is the man she was married to. I think the whole neglect thing scares my huband off. He was neglected once already by the man who suppossedly never claimed parental rights. Maybe my husband feels anger to the fact that the bdad certainly was old enough to have tried at the very least to keep him.
I think that Scott really would like to contact his bmom and/or some other mebers of the birth family. Maybe some day he will be ready to contact the bdad. ANd I think that if the bdad tried to contact him that he would be open to that.
