McNeeley's from MA. anyone?

I was born Michael McNeeley on 7\21\53. My bmother was from MA., Boston or surrounding area. She had 5 sisters, she was 23. Does anyone know ANY McNeeley's from there? She went to NJ to give birth and stayed with a maternal aunt. I was born at Cooper Hosptial in Camden, NJ. My bfather was 26 and in the service, and married, he would have been in MA in October 1952. Both are Irish Catholic. She took me home from the hospital and tried to parent me with the help of her mother for 2 months. It caused a rift in her family when she placed me for adoption with Catholic Charities of Boston. I was baptized Michael McNeeley in the Cathoilic Church. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just turned 50 and have been searching since I was 18. Frustrated doesn't even come close. Thank you. My email address is eyejustam@yahoo.com

We lived in Boston 1971-1977. My husband worked for Inter Varsity Christian Fellowship, a ministry to college students, and at one time there was an intern working with him named Steve McNeeley. I personally don't recall any more about him except that he would have been about 22 years old at the time. My husband might, and if you would like us to give you any more info, let me know. We can look into it for you. We moved to CA in 1977, still with IVCF and having interns there, but I think we knew Steve from our time in Boston not CA. I could be wrong, but my husband will know that for sure.

Sorry but my husband is not much help, and I may have raised your hopes to no avail. Steve McNeeley worked for my husband for a couple of years at age 22 around 1980 in California not Massachusetts. He may have been from the Chicago area, perhaps Wheaton College. I suppose he might be a distant cousin. So sorry. Good luck.
