FBI fingerprints

All,
We are matched with expecting Mom (out of state) due beginning of July and our fingerprints hit one year end of June so we had them redone the other day at CJIS. Can anyone with recent experience tell me how long they waited to get FBI clearance letter back? [Know the state letter only takes a few weeks]

We were fingerprinted at CJIS in october and it took us a full three months (to the day) to get our federal back...... very frustrating.

Hummm for domestic acdoption we were not required to have our fingerprints re-done att he 1 year mark. As long as our homestudy said that they were cleared and we sent copies of all the documents they were fine. so it may be ok..

Also.. our fingerprints only took 4 weeks to come back. Anyway.., good luck.. I would lvoe to know more about your match.. what state?? Will you finalize here in MD?

Just thought I would post to let others know that things are moving faster these days with FBI prints! We got our letters yesterday which made wait only about 6 weeks this time.

I'm glad you got them back. We had to redo ours for our Russian adoption and got the letters back about 10 days later.
