We are in Frederick County and finalized on our daughter last October. She was 6 when placed and 7 when finalized, and 8 now. She was from PA. We also used Adoptions Together.

In our case, we found our daughter on the internet. She was on PA SWAN site. We sent our homestudy out on about 100 kids we saw through the internet. I hate to say it, but it really is a numbers game.

we found our daughter on adoptuskids. we sent out our homestudy about 40 times over a 6 week period before being matched.
basically, Adoptions Together will use their contacts with various agencies and search for a child for you in Md and other states, but it's also a good idea to do some of your own searching. |
