Happy Holidays

This has been the most depressing Christmas of my life! Of-course there are a number of influential factors, but not having our baby yet certainly tops the list (also being sick, grad school, not enjoying work, rain, rain, more rain). I couln't even motivate myself to put ornaments on the tree, I just pooped out after the lights!
So I am really motivated toward looking at the new year, knowing in my heart that our baby will be in our home by next Christmas. Good luck and happy holidays to each of you, may the new year bring us all "a little something special"!

Shannon and Sean

I know how you are feeling. That was me last year in the mist of infertility treatments. But let's try to think of the wonderful Christmas we will all have next year. This year think of all the great things that you will celebrate next time this year. Know that there are plenty of us out there that know how you feel. I do hope that this season brings you some joy. Merry Christmas....Andie

Bless both of your hearts. I tried to have a baby with my hubby for 6 years and then did IVF 2 times... I thought I would never be a mom... So I know how the both of you feel. I will be praying that you will get your little ones VERY soon. The year is NOT over with yet.... I now have a daughter that is 2 years and 3 months and a son that just turned 1 last week.. Just know that it's in God's perfect timing... He will not be a second late...

Hope you don't mind me sharing a picture of them..

Happy Holidays to you both...

Cathy, your kids are too cute! I actually enjoyed Christmas once the actual day rolled around. I got to sit at the "Big Table" and relax while other family members chased little ones that were pumped up on sugar and candy canes, I even enjoyed a glass of wine or two (oh heck, maybe three!) which my cousin who is 8 months preggers and very uncomfortable could not do! I wasn't even upset when flying legos took out a waterford crystal glass, because that is going to be ME next year. I was actually able to enjoy the event as our last christmas without the extra fuss and watchfulness of having the baby, I didn't think that was going to happen. Of-course I hit the after Christmas sales (not much better than the before Christmas sales) and bought the world's largest and softest stuff panda for the baby's room, I'm actually thinking Santa might "deliver" it next year! As I sit here typing he's watching as a reminder of things to come! Thanks again for all the holiday wishes, I hope that everyone's turned out as nicely as mine!

Shannon
