My husband and I are a mixed couple- he's black and I'm Latina and we had adopted our three children who are mixed (black and white). What part of MD are you moving to and what are the ages of your kids?

For anyone interested in joining a playgroup, I am thinking about starting one in my home. I live in Germantown and know very few people who have adopted (I know of them, but don't know many personally).

My story is that we are an interracial couple (asian & caucasion) and our son arrived here from Korea in Feb. He is now 1 year old and is of the age where he can walk and interact with other toddlers.

I am so excited and eager to meet up with other families who have adopted. We live in Germantown. I will be an official stay at home mom beginning the 5th of January. Malcolm came to us at the beginning of Novemeber --- rather quickly and we hadn't time to make connections in the area with other families. My hubby is AA as is our son. I am cc. I am eager to join a playgroup or host one. We would like to be involved with a very ethniclly diverse group.

Please let me know if anyone is still interested or has opening in an already established group.
