I am just starting to look. Birthdate Sept 21, 1971, Holy Cross Hospital Silver Spring MD. I know my birth parent's ages and basic descriptions, but nothing more. I would appreciate any help. I believe the adoption was through the Montgomery County Social Services.

I have been in touch with the SS Dept in Mont. Co. Md but have gotten very little information. They did find my birth father's sister in law and are supposed to send me her # after she signs a "waiver". I assume that will at least provide me with my birthfather's name. Any help that you have about serches in DC/Md would be a big help.

My husband was born on 9-14-1964, at University of Maryland Hospital. He was given to Social Services and put into foster care. The foster/adopted mother cannot remember any information (at least that is what she says). I petitioned the courts and they found no records of his adoption and his file with social services wasn't closed until he was 20. He has his foster/adopted mother's last name. I'm not sure how to proceed. Please Help me I'm very frustrated.

i hope you can give me some help. my mother gave up two daughters for adoption one in 1942 and one in 1943. i was told they were born in keswick hospital baltimore md. i have had no luck in my search. i have been trying for two years.

hi I am actualy looking for my sisters they were born in 1942 and 1943 in md. maybe you may know of the hospital they were born it was keswic hospital. i was born in clw, fl. my mother is the one who gave the girls up for adoption. I was born in 1960. my mother was 44 when she had me. she told me about the girls when I was 18. and said she did not want to look for them because she did not want to upset ther lives. I now think i have found a niece but not sure. sorry I am not much help for you. good luck in your search.

Hi Spike,
Just found out where my son is. He is here in Harford
County. Just sent a letter and pictures to him. Am hoping
he will want to meet me. Good luck in your search.
Do you know what agency you went thru in Frederick. I went
right to the agency I went thru when I gave him for
adoption. Now with the new rules it should help.
If you need any other help I will tell you exactly what
