January 31, 1982 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at Prince Georges hospital. Stephanie is her name. I gave her up through private adoption. Her adoptive parents(Don is the fathers name) always had a way of communicating with me until 7 years ago when I moved to Oregon. My baby turns 21 tomorrow. I know she went to University of Pennsylvania where she majored in art. My reasons for posting here are that I want her to be able to find me if she wishes.

Hi Donna, I am lookinf for my daughter that I had to give up for adoption. I had named her Renee' Elizabeth, but do not believe she was ever called by that name. Her birthdate is 1/9/68, born in the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. The adoption was handled by the Family & Children's Services of Central, MD located on W. Lanvale St. In Baltimore. My baby was placed in foster care on 1/12 and then another on on 3/29. She was placed with her adopitive family on May 23. 68. This is all that I know about her. Born March 6, 1941 in Maryland. Not sure which city. Searching for closed adoption paperwork. I am looking for my friend. This is a female who will be 42 in March 2003 whose adopted maiden name is Ferkler. She doesn't know her given name or anything about her biological parents. Any info send to Petunia3665@yahoo.com.

If you can help me, I am searching for my birthparents, Ernestine Johnson and Sherman Phillip Owens, both 26 at time of my adoption. I was named baby girl Johnson, born 9/11/65, at Prince Georges Hospital Center, Cheverly, MD. My adopted parents live in North Brentwood Maryland. My adopted name is Renee Shipp. I know I have a brother, no sure if he is older, but we were close in age.

I'm looking for my half-sister my mom gave up for adoption.She was born in Cheverly, MD at Prince Georges Co. Hospital. She was born Sept. 3/4 1965. Birth-mother's name is Carol Jean Hoover. ......also I am looking for a half-brother that was given up for adoption. He was born Feb.21, 1969 in Astoria, NY(at Blount Memorial?)

It is wonderful that this site was created......thank you to whomever is responsible! I know there are many people out there looking for their family members and although I am neither the adoptee or the birth parents, I understand........I am trying to help my brother Mark, find his daughter.
