I am an adoptee who has found her birth mom through Marylands CI program.......was very pleased with this service. If you haven't already...please go and put your name on the registry with maryland (and of course register with the ISRR largest free registry). There is a small fee to be added to the Maryland Register...it is worth it. My birth mother was not on it so I chose to be appointed a CI (Confidential Intermediary) through the state of Maryland. They found my birth mom in 3 weeks....of course it costs a fee...well worth it to me. I do not know if they search for adoptees but it would be worth calling them and finding out...they are wonderful people. Here is their number Jill Taylor...410-767-7695 she will answer all your questions. This is Jill's direct line. She is who I talked to originally and she is wonderful.

i too was born and adopted in prince george county, maryland.
the hospital was pg general. i have spoken to them and they have my birth record. baby boy, born 4:14am, 20 july 1963. of course they refuse to give me any information and i tried....
even begged...but no go...
i have obtained all the non-id info and when they sent me the letter there was a white out in the margin...it fell after "baby boy" and it said "west"....i was told that my mother had a "common" last name...i don't know if someone was trying to tell me something or not....who knows...kind of odd don't you think...
anyway...if there is anything you can do to help me it would be very appreciated.
