Help- MOM WAS HERE LOOKING FOR ME!!
I plead to everyone here!
Someone who is most likely my birthmother was here "desparately' looking for me on my 18th birthday, Jan 27,2003 (born in 1985 pittsburgh pa) . She has not been active since 2003. HER USER NAME ON THIS SITE IS Teresa Carson Does anyone have any contact information, as I doubt she would respond to the PMs and emails I send through this site. What should I do?!? Wow, how exciting for you!! I'm going to suggest a couple of things that come to mind immediately and then try a little more research. Also, there will be more posts after mine with many suggestions, so hang in there!!
First, I suggest you send that email anyway. You never know. I have been on this site and kept my email up, as have many others. Also, maybe she took a 'break' from her search, but will be back and looking in the future. Sometimes the search gets to be a little too frustrating and many people stop searching for a bit, but usually, from what I have read, they start again as soon as they are ready. Second, I would go to the links for your state and your year of birth and post a general 'male ISO birthfamily 01-27-85 Pittsburg' thread in both PA and 1985 threads on this site (if you haven't already). Third, go to the ISRR site, I think it's isrr.net, and register there. If she was looking here, it's possible that the same advice was given to her and she registered there. If so, then ISRR will call you to advise you of the match as soon as they receive your registration. It is free. Also, make sure you register your info on the registry on this site so that if she does come back to the registry on this site to search, she can see that you are looking for her. Do you know if she was still in PA? Was there any indication in her post of where she may currently be? Ok, I'll go do a little searching and come back to check on this thread in a bit. FOUND!!!! Thanks to Amyie, I got some great leads. A nice lady named Joane emailed me within a few hours of my posting on her site, The adoption database, and my mom and I were talking a few hours later. Set to meet this weekend!! thanks everyone for your help!!

Birthmom Smiling
Thank you to everyone that assisted David in finding me. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much. We chatted till 2 am and about 20 emails today alone...HE is a wonderful man. Saturday could not come quick eneough..Will keep you all posted..and thank you again- And I hope you all have success in your searches-never give up faith

Best Day Ever
The reunion was beautiful. There were lots of exchanging of gifts, photos, stories and hugs. He says I have to quit saying it but he is PERFECT. The best part of all is that it is not going to end after the reunion. We are fotunate to have the support of all involved which is a blessing. We both have been resourcing here alot of what to expect...the ups and downs..and are confident that we can work through anything. I am kicking myself for not having all my infor. current..which led to 2 days additional with him not in my life. Thank you for everyone for your kind words. We will keep you all posted..."WE"- I still cant believe him and I are a "WE" again.

Adoptee bmom found by search angel 06/02/05, first conversation on 08/09/07, first f2f on 09/25/07 found and reunited with half by bdad and his third wife 03/06/08 Reunited with siblings born to bdad and his fourth wife 11/17/06 Reunited with brothers by bmom 06/14/06 and first f2f Oct. 12-16, 2006, very happily I may add Reunited with older half siblings by bfather and first wife 07/25/06 and first f2f with bsister Sept. 3, 2006, first f2f with bbrothers Thanksgiving, 2006 Reunited with 2 Uncles and cousins on bmom's side 01/20/07, met them the weekend of 08/17/07 at a family reunion Janet

this brought tears to my eyes!!!!!
I have found my bdaughter, but have not had the joy of a face to face reunion yet....but we do send messages . I'm so happy for both of you!!!!!!!! (((hugs)))
