What are your thoughts? This is the deal: I found my bmother back in October, she wants nothing to do with me, which is fine with me. I do have two half- sisters, one older and one younger. The oldest sister and I talk all the time, the younger sister has no idea I'm around. The oldest sister came to me over the weekend and told me that she thinks my bfather may be the same bfather to our younger sister. The kicker is that the younger sister thinks that she has the same father as the older sister. A secret that has been kept between 3 people for 30 plus years. So that would make the younger sister my full sister. Which again she knows nothing about me. I have located the bfather and really would like to talk to him, I'm pretty sure he knows nothing about me. I don't want to messup everybodies lives, but it's not my fault they chose to lie. That's a really long story short. To add, they have all had a REALLY hard lifes. Drugs, drinking the whole nine yards.. Please share your thoughts...

If you want to contact your Bfather, you don't need permission from ANYONE!!! And if your older sister knows about you, why doesn't the younger one? It's not your fault if there have been lies all these years...you're entitled to some happiness and answers too, aren't you?! You do what you feel is best for YOU, not anyone else, hon!

The younger sister just doesn't know.. I'm not sure why.

Your story sounds just like mine. I found my birth mother March of 2006. I met two of my 3 sisters. I keep in touch with the sisters, but Mom does not talk to me because she feels guilty about what she has done. There is also so many lies that are around about me. She says she is protecting everyone, she is 71 yrs old I think it is time to let the lies go away and tell the truth. You are right it is not your fault we need answers to. I am trying to find my Dad and her stories keep changing. It is very hard at times but let me tell you, you are not alone on how you are feeling.

The younger sister is 35 now, They are so messed up with drugs I'm afraid to to get to close to any of them. I figure all the lies will come sooner or later. I just don'tt know how people sleep at night.

I'm sure you mom will some around soon. Are the sister helping you? What about the 3rd one, does she know about you?

I think I will send the bfather a letter, now I just have to write it.

I do not know if the mother will come around she has to many head trips in her head. I do not blame you for not wanting to be around the drugs. There is a lot of alcohol on the side of my birth family. The older (the 3rd one) sister doesn't talk to the family, but we keep missing each other's phone calls. Hopefully we can talk tonight. All of them are in there 50's. I am the baby. You are very lucky to be able to write to your bfather I hope everything works out for you. Like everyone said before, it is about you and you need to do what is right for you.
