I think I've found her.....
I'm almost positive that I have found my daughter. She is only off by a little bit with the information that she has, which includes my eye color and my age at the time I gave birth to her. The thing that makes me so certain that it is her is because she included specific information that not everyone knew. She has an email address for contact information, plus a phone number and address! I wanted to email her first just to make completely sure that it is her. How do I go about that without jumping the gun? I don't want to get her upset if I am wrong.

Just make contact, because she has herself listed she is waiting for this moment. Its okay if it winds up not being a match, at the very least you have found someone who you can talk to throughout this whole process. I contacted my birth mother three months ago, I am still waiting for her to contact me again. I hope she comes around. I wish you luck in your search.

I have to agree with Karck, just email her. If she has been searching she will more than likely be happy to hear from you and if it isn't her you will know to keep looking and so will she. Good Luck and keep us posted. Happy Thanksgiving! God bless! Aura

I too agree that you contact her by either letter or e-mail and include details that are specific to the daughter you are seeking eg. the name of the hospital, the date, agency used, or even the name of the doctor who delivered her) It sounds really promising and I wish you well

Well I did it. She responded too. I asked about the dates and she isnt' so sure that they are specific. We have emailed twice now and I am waiting to hear back from her. She feels that emails are impersonal and probably wants to talk on the phone. I myself would rather take it slow and get our facts straight so we don't get ahead of ourselves. I am so excited though.
