I have been Infertile for 10 yrs all together and recently married the man of my dreams. His insurance told us Ivf was covered at 50% up to $1000 after that it was 100% covered. Well I went through the all of the testing and the mock transfere and was one week away from the procedure and they call me and tell me I m not covered. I was devastated to say the least and stayed in bed crying for about three weeks. Since I have done three apeals and when to Insurance commisioners and state and federal and the commisioner (state) says I have a very good case but its out of her jurisdiction. They say I should get a lawyer but lets face it by the time I did that I could pay for IVF my self. Besides I am one person and they are a huge insurance company. IF any one has any advise please help!! And we are not rich people we simply cannot afford such an expensive procedure alone.

I am really sorry for you lose. I know how hard it is for you.
I am 22 years old and I have had doctors tell me that I will never be able to have a child unless I go to a fertility doctor. Well I went and I was all set, but like yourself my insurance fell through. It is hard, but god has miracles and plans for all of us. Good luck to you...God bless....and I am truely sorry Megan
