The same thing happened to me and I contacted the adoption registry office and spoke with Mike. He checked to see if the e-mail was coming back returned since we cannot tell. The e-mail address was no longer valid, but it settled my questions and insanity. He was very helpful in many other ways and I just had our reunion this past weekend.

Don't give up - Do you have her present name? You can run searches on voter registration records and records of deeds on the internet.

If the person is a member of the forum you could send them a personal message instead of an email. Then you could go to message tracking to see if and when they read the personal message.
