I guess sometimes we have give a little so we can receive a little too. A card for this speical day gives the receiver a little prompt - saying hey, we feel part of the whole. You have nothing to lose.

I did send her a card..she actually called but she called me at home when she knew I would be in school all night and when I tried calling back she didn't answer.
Not sure if she had already gone to bed or what..anyway..according to the message she enjoyed the card.

I found the perfect gift, I bought her a card of course, but I bought a black 4x6 picture frame and put a photo of me and her and her other daughter in it. I put little white roses all around it and painted mom at the top. I'm giving it to her tonight so I'll post tomorrow how it goes.
