Hello. I'm just getting started to find my half sister. My half brother is very interested as well, since this would be his whole sister.

I was born in August of '85 my parents were 18 and 19. My mom kept me. Apparently my father ended up having another child with another woman, and they decided to put her up for adoption because my dad already had a kid, and the woman wasn't ready for a kid. I guess. My brother (by my father) was born in May of 1990.

I know our Fathers' name, and the mothers name (though we're looking for her maiden name)

Also managed to find some Lien on a hospital bill for November of 89. (but that couldn't have been the birth because it's less than 9 months before my brothers birth.)

Any ideas on how to do this? I don't exactly have a budget for this, so I was thinking just a bunch of forums? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

Hi i am new to this, never been in chat rooms etc...I recently decided that i am going for it and going to try to find my brother that was assuming adopted. not sure how to post a new thread with details of his date of birth where and all that can you direct me. thanks

I have info from my aunt that was there when he was born so i have birth date what hospital he was born in and that is about it. oh he was born with a head full of black hair

Well, that's a good start. Better than mine I think. How old would he be?

he is 41 yrs old. I just got a e-mail from a lady that says she had searched for her brother for 6 years. then someone told her to go to the courts of where he was born. petition them to open up files of Bith certificate and with in 3 weeks she had his name and address to where he is now. she is going to help me out thank god. If i find out anything i will let you know

also she said if you know what county she was adopted in it is much easier. Let me know what you think. I know this can be stressful. I have been to a dozen sites one site which is very good and if you haven't registered yet you should is GS Adoption registry it is G'S Adoption Registry Request Form Instructions. it has different sites from the main page plus a message board where people who have been adopted and looking for family members post dates and states where they are from and who they are looking for and it is nice maybe that would help you out let me know
