my bdad called!!!!!!!!!!!
my bdad just called me!!
he was so happy he was laughing and crying and talking and talking!!!! He said he got my letter and wanted to wait until my bday to call me (tomorrow) but he couldn't wait another minute. yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just so unbelievable! To hear his voice and to hear him say that he's thought about me everyday since he last saw me when he held me in his arms for the last time at 2 years old.... everything and more that I imagined in a first contact  Thanks for the bday wishes....I'll be 27 in the morning... The funniest thing was how he introduced himself on the phone: Hi Jess, Its your biodad!!! I love it!

ugh!!!!!!!!!!
My fiance and I finally told my parents about my bdad. They said they understand my need to do it but that I need to keep his world totally seperate from their world...and that they will NEVER see him face to face.
This is a major problem because my wedding is next year and my bdad has already said he can't wait for it. My parents said that I'm chosing him over them if I invite my bfamily. I think its the other way around...that they are chosing not to go... background info (bdad went into navy when i was 2, i'm half adopted, grew up with biological mother and adad since I was 4). any advice????

This is such a HARD situation!!!! I really feel for you, and for your sake just wish everyone could GET ALONG!!!! Being put in the middle is so not fair!!! Try to talk to your mom and dad and explain this is just something you have always wanted.... I wish you the best!!! Staci

I would ask My AParents to not ask me to choose re: wedding...your wedding is your day and you should be able to invite whom you wish....

Healing, I'm sorry that your Aparents are making you feel as if you have to choose 'sides' at your own wedding. How unfortunate for you to have to deal with that...
I would try having a private conversation with them, explain where you're coming from, how important this is for you, and how unreasonable they would be being if they expected you NOT to invite your father to your wedding. That's just not fair to put you in this position. They have to be the mature adults in this situation and to understand that it's their problem, not yours. I can never understand why people can't put their personal feelings aside for ONE DAY and enjoy a wedding... Good luck to you, sweetie! Hope your reunion is still going strong! Hugs, Tammi
