Do you know your birthmother's name?
Hi my name is Jodi I am 30 years old. I am looking for my half sibling and not sure if they are male or female. But I heard a rumor that it was a girl. My half sibling would have been born in 1973. I believe the adoption was thru a thru a catholic girls home. the birthmother had blonde hair and blue eyes and father has brown hair and brown eyes. If you know your birthmothers name, please contact me to see if it's a match. |

Non-ID is available for adoptions in LA...
As a birth-sibling, you are entitled to some non-identifying information regarding this adoption in LA. This will give you a date of birth and other important facts to help you with your search...
If you believe it was a Catholic agency, then it was probably Catholic Charities. Adoptees If you are an adoptee who was adopted through the Catholic Charities Adoption Program, Archdiocese of New Orleans, and you are interested in receiving non-identifying background information about your birthparent(s), please e-mail Danna Cousins at dcousins@archdiocese-no.org. Your e-mail should include your name, current address, date of birth, and adoptive parents’ names. Adoptive Parents If you are an adoptive parent, inquiring on behalf of your minor child, who would like non-identifying background information relating to the adoption, please contact Danna Cousins at dcousins@archdiocese-no.org. Please include your name, the child’s name and date of birth, as well as a current address. Birthparents + Birthsiblings If you are a birthparent who placed a child for adoption through Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of New Orleans, and are interested in obtaining non-identifying background information about your biological child, please e-mail Danna Cousins at dcousins@archdiocese-no.org. Your e-mail should include your name, current address and the child’s date of birth. Reunion If you are interested in registering for a reunion with a child placed for adoption/birthparent, it is necessary for you to contact the Louisiana Adoption Registry at 1.800.259.2456 and request a Voluntary Registry packet which will provide all the information necessary for registration. The Louisiana Adoption Registry is a registry established by the Department of Social Services to serve adult adoptees over the age of 18, birth parents of adopted adults, and siblings of children placed for adoption. If both the adoptee and one birth parent register, such a "match" may result in a reunion. Catholic Charities - Search & Reunion |
