I was born in New Orleans June 24, 1984, the third of what I believe to be three children born to my birthparents. My birthname was John Paul Dominy, but was later changed to John Paul Wells. My two known siblings and I were all foster children, but I am the only surviving sibling, as the other two were victims of tragic accidents. My sister, born June 5, 1982 (dec. June 4, 1991) was named Daun Marie Dominy, and my brother, Paul Dominy was born sometime in the summer months of 1983 and died in 1986. I believe my birthfather's name is Paul Dominy and is probably between 45 and 50 years old and possibly residing in the New Orleans area. I do not know my birthmother's maiden name, but her married name I believe is Debbie/Debra/Deborah? Dominy, age unknown. I can only assume the two remained confined to the New Orleans area at least until Hurricane Katrina struck last year. I was not able to locate them before the storm, and would probably face an impossible task trying to locate them now. I don't have access to any information regarding my adoption or my birthparents, nor do I have the resources to pursue such information. I was hoping someone might read this post and have some advice as to how I can pursue locating these people of whom I have no conscious memory.
