Have you registered with the Voluntary Louisiana Registry yet? http://www.dss.state.la.us/departme...n_Registry.html You probably need to do this first. If your birthparents have registered, they will let you know. It might take a couple of months before you hear anything because they are behind because of Katrina. Also, if your birth was handled by an agency, I would also contact the agency to see if your birthparents had registered with them.
