Bumping again...as Brandy recommended, I'm adding a little about myself.

My name is Maricela, born & raised in LA. Live in Whittier with my DH, we'll be married for 15 years in March.

My son is 11 (almost 12). We became a family through fost-adopt w/DCFS. He came home when he was 2 1/2 years old. He is an amazing boy. He is an honor student, plays basketball and is in the Jr. Thespian Society at his school. He was just cast in the latest school production of "Once Upon a Mattress". (Basically it's a comedy/musical of The Princess & the pea).

My daughter is 3 1/2. She came to our family also through DCFS/Fost-Adopt. She came home when she was 3 weeks old. This girl came to rock our world She is very active and keeps us on our toes. She is a true princess.

Anyhow...that's our story!

I don't live in Whittier but know exactly where you are. I live in Wildomar next to Murrieta. We adopted domestically and now have a beautiful 20 month old.

My uncle lives in Whittier. We visit him from time to time.

Would love for my little munchkins to grow up knowing other adoptees.

Denise (kelceesmom) & I are going to plan a play date once the weather gets better...It' almost 80 degrees today...looks like we may be getting together sooner than later! We will let you know on a PM when we plan on getting together! I too would love my kids to know other adoptees.

Sounds like a party to me!!! I know a couple of other people from the forum who are local who may be interested also!

We don't have a set date yet. There are a couple of us (Musemoon, Isa & myself) who plan on renewing our Disney passes within the next couple of months. Once we all have them, we are meeting at the Princess Faire @ Disneyland!! Do you have passes too???
