I read these boards frequently but have not been to this particular one recently. I am an amom in an open adoption and my sons bmom has begun to back off. The first few months she was almost obsessive, now she will not return our calls, or if she does, does not even ask about her child. She seems to care only about herself, and I find it very frustrating because I do everything in my power to keep the peace and be tolerant of her behavior. It is somewhat comforting to know others share similar situations.
