Need to be pointed in the right direction
A friend of mine is going through a divorce. He adopted his wifes daughter at the age of 2, she is now 8. Because of the problems the soon to be exwife is bringing upon him. He would like to give up all rights to his child. My question is 1. Is that even possible to do? 2. Is there some sort of legal support group or just a support group that can help answer questions for him over the phone since he does not have a computer. Thank you!

I suggest that your friend speak with his attorney, who will be able to answer his legal questions. I am not aware of any particular support groups (particularly since you did not mention where you are located). Perhaps a local church or similar group can point him in the right direction.
