Adoption Laws in Oklahoma With Independent( Or Private) adoptions

I would like to know if Oklahoma permits independent or private adoptions. Also would a caseworker still need to inspect home and parents and if so would this happen before or after child is living with the new parents? What would be the procedure in OK if a girl agrees to let a couple adopt her baby and they go through a independent adoption(if these are permitted) with their attorney. Are there such things as independent or private agencies that do private adoptions?
I would appreciate any information you could give me. Thanks a lot!

Independent in OK

You most likely will need a homestudy, but again give an adoption attorney a call. If you are having trouble locating one, e- mail me or give me a call (802)864-9811 and I will try to get a name for you.

Good luck.
