State Adoption
Husband and I have had a little girl with us since Oct. 97 (she was 13 weeks old). Parental rights teminated in May 98 by the state of Miss. Maternal grandparents had filed petition of adoption in April 98. The petition has been denied three times and is now in state supreme court. They have not seen her since June 98. Since filing appeal to have case reheard, how many days do they have before the state attorney general's office will have the appeal dismissed? 30? 60? or more??? No one will answer my question at the local Dept. of Human Services office!!
