Adoption Appealed, Finalized and Sealed, Adoption Agreement?
After going through the adoption process, an appeal, and our adoption finalized and sealed without any written agreement for visits, the birth mom and her father's side of the family is trying to force us into an open adoption plan with frequent visits. They hired a lawyer to take us back to court. They are suing our adoption attorney as well in a separate case. We live in PA and my adopted son was my grandson. There was an assumption that the birthmom would still be in my son's life since she is a direct relative, but things have gone terribly wrong between us and she cannot have physical contact with me at this time (unofficially).
Do you think the courts could give them grounds to force us into a visitation agreement?

I believe that it is a combination of years of experience from raising a large family the first time, a little bit more money in our pockets, and a lot more time on our hands.
