what happens when bio mom goes into rehab after permanency hearing?
My grandaughter has been in the care of my husband and me for the last 17 months of her 20month old life. My son and his girlfriend are heroin addicts. Mom did not do drugs when she was pregnant. At permanency hearing judge rules case to go for adoption by us. Mom enters a mommy and me program in a rehab trying to get the baby back. She entered this program on the afternoon of the permanency hearing.TPR has to be filed in 10 days. Case just got transferred to the county where we live. I don't think a judge will give her back I hope not. Anyone have any advice?
