What Does This Mean?
My husband and I are in the process of trying to adopt a sibling group of 4 beautiful children in Pa. We have not been matched yet, but I have been in contact with the children's caseworker every step of the way. Recently when I called her to inform her that our home study was done, she stated their were legal issues with these children but would not explain any further. She also mentioned something about an interactual taking place the 15th of this month in the home where the children were placed, and that depending on what the psychologist says, these children may not be up for adoption, even though their pictures are on the adoptpakids website. I DO know that parental rights have not been terminated yet. HELP!!
Anyone have any idea to what is going on here? |

ah, clearly, if the parental rights aren't terminated, there are legal issues. I don't know what "interactual" is, but since it's a sibling group where parental rights aren't yet terminated clearly they're not free to be adopted. It's entirely possible the children are in the process of being taken away by the state DSS...
