We adopted our daughter through a great agency and finalized last September. She was born at 25 weeks gestation and has 3 heart conditions but is doing fantastic compared to what the doctors originally told us! Love and Physical Therapy go a long way!!! LOL. Anyways we want to adopt again and our agency, who we have remained very close to, called us last week regarding two infants with Down Syndrome. We do not feel this is the right placement for us at this time because our daughter is only 15 months and the one on one care is pretty extensive, but we would have loved to give one of these babies a home! As of today when I spoke to our Social Worker they still did not have any potential families, the one baby boy was born in November and really needs a permanent family soon.
