SI evaluation
Just curious: Does medical insurance cover occupational therapy for Sensory Integration/Processing disorders? What has your experience been?
Our a-daughter is about to turn 3, aging out of early intervention services, and the Regional Center says they will not recommend her for an eval with the local school district because they do not think she has SI issues. We suspect she has problems in this area and are seeking a private eval. Any info would be appreciated. FYI: She is covered under our private insurance and we have also retained her MediCal coverage.

Does she have other issues that OT needs to work on?
