We adopted our first 2 children through LDS Family Services and live in CA. We now want to adopt our 3rd child but NOT use LDS Services since we want a healthy newborn. Any suggestions for attorneys for placement or agencies to use for semi-open adoptions?
Thank you. p.s. We'd like to adopt through Utah or an LDS birthchild. |

Hi,
I do not know how long ago you adopted, but Family Services does have a program called Non-disclosed Designated Adoption. Basically third party adoption. If you can find your own bmom the agency will help you through the adoption process. In our agency I have had several friends get their babies that way. Couple of them got babies through co-workers family members. There is no limit on how many NDDA's you can do. We actually had an activity on how to get your name out to friends and family members. If you are intersted you can email me privately. Also letting your doctors, dentist etc...... know also that you are looking for another baby. I know of a few agencies in Utah. Cherished Child and TLC. Good Luck in your quest for a third! |
