It was already established when we moved here 4 yrs ago. I go up to everyone with AA kids and ask them if they know about the organization. I would DCSF and all the adoption agencies there and see if there is something in MN. If not, you can start your own , just approach people and ask them if they would llike to start a supoort group for the kids.

African American support group in SL County

Hi! I haven't gotten the information for the support group, so, I started my own little play group. We meet every other Friday at Burger King for lunch. The kids have fun playing and we Moms discuss hair, skin, etc. E-mail me if you want more info. The more the merrier. blonti@yahoo.com

Support Group

I am a Caucasian, adoptive mother of a beautiful, biracial daughter, nearing 4 years old. I would like information regarding support groups, play dates, etc. for families of African American and/or biracial children. We live in Davis County but are comfortable traveling from Ogden to SLC.

Could anyone give me some leads? Thanks!
