I am happy to report that there are still LDS moms hanging around on this site. This forum had been quiet for so long that I had begun to wonder myself.

I'm still here I don't post a whole lot but I lurk a lot. I also post on the community at the hope to adopt web site. There are a lot of us LDS moms there too.

We are getting ready to submit our papers to get #2... VERY EXCITING!

I am here! I am a hopeful lds adoptive mommy. We have been approved through ldsfs for 6 months now and we are trying to wait patiently for our first baby! Happy mothers day to everyone!

It seems most people prefer to post on the two yahoo groups. There is one for LDS domestic adoptions and one for international. They are great.

I'm here too, but I generally just lurk here. I post way more on the general side as well. I haven't needed much support recently in the LDS aspect of being an Amom. I also post alot on a Yahoo group for Post Adoptive Depression Syndrome. Something that is skipped over briefly by LDSFS. Since I had an older child placement, baby talk is still foreign to me!! But anything to do with PAD, or remodling a house, or raising smarter than average children, or adopting an older child (with no prior exposure to being LDS), or overcoming abuse in your own childhood.....now those are more main topics for me... Also anything silly, or goofy or embarassing...well there's the threads I'll be on most frequently!!
