Temple Sealing & Baptising an older child
We adopted a 10 year old girl this past August. It was pretty incredible. She was in another state than us and her foster family was recieving the missionary discussions! The missionaries sang at her candle light ceremony before we brought her home. Anyway, she LOVES church and can't wait to get baptised. We are waiting until finalization so that she can use her new name. Will she be able to be sealed to us right after the baptism?
I know with endowments a member has to wait a year after baptism, but where this a child and a sealing, not endowments, I wouldn't think waiting was necassary. Does anyone know how this works? We can't wait to take her to the temple!!!
