Hello everyone! I am new on this board. I am soooo glad I have found you all! This will be a lot easier to go through then by myself!
Anyway...I have been a lurker for a while and I have really appreciated all the insight and words of wisdom and comfort that everyone has recieved. I feel so comfortable here because we are all of the same faith and it is that common ground...I feel like I am coming home!

So my question is...we have been trying for almost 2 years now to have a baby and we are looking into adopting now. I really would like the go through LDSFS but I know that they are mostly focused on the bmothers and not as much on the adoptive parents. Is that the case?? Or did you feel that everything was pretty much equal? And my one other question is about the finacial situation. My hubby and I are in school still. I am working though full time. And come this next fall my hubby will also start working agian. Does this disqualify us? Or do you think even if we are in school they will still consider us? Any adivce would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm the one who responded yesterday - but now don't remember what all I wrote. I just PM'd you with what I could remember. Different people have different experiences with the same agency, so more replies would be helpful, too. My advice, though, is to contact your local agency and ask them your questions. They will be able to answer most of them, and then you can come here for opinions and experiences that individuals have had. Anyway - read my PM I sent you, and feel free to ask me anything else. Who knows, I may even have an answer!
