Back from Trip 1
Everything went really well. The orphan court was very adoption friendly and much less stressful than anything we went through in Russia. Now we wait for our final court date... Hopefully that will be in about a month.

The trip was 10 days including travel time. We only had to be in region 7 days.

Trip 2 is only 4 days including travel time -- you only have to be in Latvia the day of court. Flying there and back just takes a really long time.
