My husband and I have just begun the process of adopting from Russia. I speak Russian, it is fairly obvious why we chose Russia. If you are fairly local, I can help with a little tutoring and some recommendations of great books that can help...and they are children's level with lots if Pics so you wouldn't have too much trouble with them. They are what I use to teach my husband.

And no, I am not native Russian...I am an American who just happens to love the Russian language and culture...and kids.

My husband and I live about 15 mins south of San Antonio, so if you are a fair distance from us, all I would ask is help with gas...other than that, my services are free to loving families who need a little help.

I'm not in the area but did see that you know some GREAT books. We are planning on adopting from Russia within the next 2 years. I would like to learn the language as much as I can in 2 years as well as teach our son who is 2.

Wow...I just saw this. I know if you posted on the Russian forum you would probably get a lot of response. Do you write Russian as well?
