Korean adoption in MAINE?
Is anyone here familiar with Korean, or at least international adoption agencies in Maine? I have a meeting with one set up, and am waiting to hear back from another.
I have researched online and can't seem to find any experiences with international adoption in this state and was wondering if anyone can give me a lead? Thanks! |

Korea is the only country that requires families to use an agency with an office in their state, which has a contract with the Korean government to place children with families in that state. With most countries, you can use an agency anywhere in the U.S., as long as you have a local homestudy.
To the best of my knowledge, there is only one agency in Maine with a Korea contract. I will email you the name of that agency. Sharon
