Birth order and cost questions

Will Korea allow adoptions out of birth order or artificial twinning for the adoption of a boy with SN? I'm not particularly eager to do artificial twinning--would consider it, but not go looking for it. But, we are thinking of inserting a middle child, by adopting a toddler boy (about two years old, and we are open to a variety of mild-moderate special needs). Our youngest will be about a year old when we are homestudy ready.

Also, is a cost range of $25,000 to $27,000 (grand total) typical?

Thanks!

R.

I don't know for sure. I have been on several agencies websites and I have read the youngest child in the house needs to be two years old at the time of application. I am not sure if this is just the few agencies I have researched or if it is a requirement of the Korean Social Services.

Good luck to you!

I would say 25-27K is typical. Not sure about your question. Your best bet would be to contact an agency that you are able to go with and ask them. good luck!
