Question re: health requirements

Hello,

I understand that Korea has strict health requirements regarding weight and pre-existing health conditions.

We don't have any problems with the weight issue, but my husband does take medication for high blood pressure. Does anyone know if this would be a problem?

Thank you so much for any info you can provide.

Donna

I believe that is going to be more agency specific. I don't know all the agencies that can place from korea, I only know 3. Of those 3, 2 have weight restrictions, and seem to be a bit stricter on general overall health.

The agency we used does not have weight restrictions. I am diabetic and take medication for diabetes, high cholesterol, and was also on anti-depressants.

I have heard that some agencies are no longer accepting people on anit-anxiety medications, and I know that korea has denied 1 couple because of this.

With all that in mind, the agency that you use will be able to anser that specifically. The answer might even help you decide on which agency to use.

Good luck to you!
