Chicago Area Korean Culture Camps or Groups
I originally posted this in the Intl Adoption Support category, but I thought I'd try here, too. My wife and I adopted a boy, Cole, (now 3 years old) from South Korea in Oct. 2005. We live in the Chicago area (Oak Park), and we're trying to find information about groups or organizations that provide support/activities for families with kids adopted from Korea.
Searching the web, we've found CAFFA (Chicago Area Families For Adoption) and the KAAN Conference. Does anyone have any experience with either of these? We've also seen sites for various Korean culture camps in the Midwest. Has anyone participated in any of the Korean culture camps offered in the Chicago area? Any other suggestions are appreciated. Thanks. Dirk |
