Does Korea expidite referrals for families of Korean desent?

I THINK that they do..... After the rule change went through, I know families in the Heritage program did seem to get referrals a little earlier. I think also that you can request gender.
I am not certain though.

No. Not with Eastern or SWS, anyway.

They like it, though. But other than the possibility to select gender, they didn't for us.

If we were questionable with regard to their guidelines, we were told that the might look more favorably on us.

I've heard that it is more likely you can request a gender if you are of Korean descent, but not that the adoption process happens any quicker. I'm not sure though after the new guidelines went into effect last year if that is still the same.
